About Josh
Hey, I’m Josh. I’m the guy behind Josh Davies Bespoke Carpentry & Construction. When I’m off the tools I’m a father to two wonderful children along with my partner Ellie and our fab lab Bron. I also play drums, and have done a lot over the years. Playing music gave me the opportunity to travel the length and breadth of the UK and parts of Europe gigging and touring in bands. I now live nestled in rolling hills of South Shropshire where I’m luckily enough to spend most of my time building and constructing as well enjoying the great outdoors.

I was born and raised here on a family farm, however I did spread my wings for short time. I went off to Uni to study Physics in Liverpool and then ventured south to London in hopes of a prospering career in the city. However, I quickly discovered desk life wasn’t for me so, after a 5 month long ski season in the French Alps, I returned home, started life as a carpenter and have ultimately spent the last ten years establishing what is now my business.
